Trip at a glance:

Twenty nights accommodation in hotel, two nights at camps/resorts and two nights accommodation in house boat. Seven airport transfers (On arrival in Delhi on first day, Delhi – Varanasi – Delhi, Delhi – Jaipur, Jodhpur – Delhi, Delhi – Leh, Srinagar – Delhi). Rest of the trip by using Air Conditioned Toyota Innova. In Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Srinagar hotels/houseboat provided will be on half board basis (include breakfast and dinner) and lunch will be served in an Air conditioned/best available restaurant for change of taste. At rest of places accommodation would include all meals.

Skeleton Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi (transfer to Agra)

On arrival drive straight to hotel in Agra. Today’s activity depends on your arrival in Delhi. Sunset at Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel in Agra.

Day 2: Agra

Sunrise at Taj Mahal, Mini Taj, Agra Fort, Local market, Sunset at Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel in Agra.

Day 3: Agra-Delhi

Sun rise photography of Taj Mahal from boat, photograph washermen. Drive Agra – Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, check in hotel and visit Kutub Minar. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 4: Fly Delhi-Varanasi.

Photograph places of interest. Evening boat cruise to Ghats to view prayer ceremonies. Overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 5: Varanasi

Morning boat cruise to photograph morning activities like bathing, washing, praying, cremation, etc. Excursion to Sarnath, Narrow lanes and visit important places. Overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 6: Varanasi – Delhi – Jaipur

Catch earliest flight back to Delhi and catch connecting flight to Jaipur. Check in hotel. Visit places of interest depending on available time. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 7: Jaipur

Photography of sunrise and sunset at Mansagar lake, Visit Amber fort, Palace of wind (hawa mahal), markets, cloth dyeing, handicrafts, evening visit to Chowkhi Dhani and have dinner in local surrounding. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 8: Jaipur

Visit local places of interest for photography. Visit milk market, tribal areas, Samode palace. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 9: Jaipur – Jodhpur

Drive straight to Jodhpur. Check in hotel. Visit local places of interest and sunset views at fort. Overnight at hotel in Jodhpur..

Day 10: Jodhpur

Visit Mehrangarh fort, Jasant thada, local markets and interesting places for photography in blue city, step wells. Overnight at hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur – Delhi

Transfer to the airport to catch flight for Delhi. Check in and overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 12: Delhi -Leh by flight

Full day rest. Later in the afternoon walk around the town. Stay overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 13: Leh

Thiksay monaster, Chemray monastery, Stakna monastery, Shey palace. Stay overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 14: Leh

Thiksay monastery for morning prayer, Oracle lady, Local house visit, Sangkar monastery, Shanti Stupa for sunset. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 15: Leh – Nubra valley via Khardungla pass (highest motorable road in the world).

Khardungla pass, Diskit monastery, Sand dunes, Double hump camels, landscapes. Overnight at camp/hotel in Nubra valley.

Day 16: Nubra valley – Leh

Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 17: Leh to Tsomoriri lake (the most beautiful lake in Ladakh)

Day 18: Tsomoriri lake to Leh via Tsokar lake and Taglangla pass.

Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 19: Photograph Leh palace, Tsemo monastery, Spituk monastery, Indus river confluence, Castel of Basgo, Likir monastery, Alchi monastery, Rizong monastery and nunnery

Overnight at Ule Ethnic resort

Day 20: Ule tokpo – Lamayuru, Gyal village, Mulbeik and Shargol monastery.

Overnight at hotel in Kargil.

Day 21: Kargil to Srinagar via Drass (second coldest place in the world) Dzijila pass, Sonamarg, etc.

Overnight at houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 22: Srinagar

Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), Shankaracharya Temple, Vegetable market, Hazratbal Mosque, Hari Parbat Fort, Jama Masjid. Overnight at houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 23: Srinagar – Delhi flight

Early morning boating to photograph floating market. Arrive Delhi, Check in hotel, leave for photography at Kutub Minar. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 24: Old Delhi

Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Spice market and the other crowded market. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 25: Fly back home.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey back home.
