Name of the Tour: ‘Photography at ease

This itinerary has been designed keeping in mind problems like vertigo, altitude sickness, car sickness, age factor, knee problem, etc. that restricts many enthusiastic and keen photographers from photography. Our effort is to provide service to all interested photographers at all possible situations. It is often seen that elderly people who are keen photographers many a times are unable to cope up with either other people in the group, busy schedules or because of geographical reasons and other health problems. Hence special care has been taken while designing the itinerary.

Maximum height during the tour: 3600 mts above sea level

Trip at a glance:

Three night accommodation in house boat, nine night accommodation in hotel and one night accommodation in a Resort. Three airport transfers (Delhi-Srinagar, Srinagar-Leh, Leh-Delhi). Rest of the trip by using Air Conditioned Toyota Innova, In Delhi and Agra hotels provided will be on half board basis (include breakfast and dinner) and lunch will be served in an Air conditioned restaurant for change of taste. At rest of places accommodation would include all meals.

24/06/2011: Arrive Delhi and catch connecting flight to Srinagar

(any activity today will depend on your arrival time in Delhi and Srinagar).

Mughal gardens Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) the Mughals laid out in the 16th century, vegetable market.

26/06/2012: Srinagar

Floating market, local markets, Shikara ride.

27/06/2012: Srinagar – Leh (full day rest)

28/06/2012: Thiksay, Shey, Chemre, Stakna monasteries’ scenic photography.

29/06/2012: Hemis monastery festival, Local market, shanti stupa for sunset shoot

30/06/2012: Thiksay monastery, Shey Palace, shanty stupa, local village, brick makers

01/07/2012: Spituk, Indus and Zangskar river confluence, villages on the way to Ule Tokpo.

02/07/2012: Likir monastery, castle of Basgo, Leh market, old town, Local house visit.

Followed by drive to Agra, Sunset at Taj Mahal
